Welcome Back to Marchfest, we would love to watch your band perform. Please mark your calendar for the competition start at 6:00 pm on September 26th 2009. This is our 20th Marchfest, an annual event hosted by the Waukesha South Band Booster Association. This is the Original and Best Waukesha Marching Competition, held in the evening. The competition is of great value because adjudication is provided by eight competition WSMA Judges. The performances are traditionally held in the Ken Hollub Stadium at Waukesha South High School and attracts bands from Northern Illinois and all of Wisconsin. It is open to bands of all classes and levels including exhibition. It is a great opportunity to showcase your new program under the flood-lights.

FEATURES:

  • Manicured, well-illuminated competition field.
  • Non-competitive participation option - Judges comments only.
  • Morning (prior arrangement) and/or afternoon practice sessions may be scheduled.
  • Illuminated warm-up areas available prior to competition.
  • Well-planned inclement weather alternative in the South High School Field House.
  • Trophy for each participating Band.
  • Well-organized Judge’s Critique.
  • Full reception for Directors and your staff before and during the Judge’s Critique.
