Blackshirt Bands Travel Plans for Australia, 2011:
Following a long tradition, the Waukesha South Blackshirt Band program includes performances, education, and travel to local, domestic, and international venues. In our exciting history, some of the South Band destinations have included: Switzerland, New Orleans, Texas, Florida, England, California, and China. Plans are currently underway for a music and cultural event in Australia, in the spring of 2011.

 | Sign up and Commitment forms were due by Oct 23, 2009 so that detailed planning can begin. If you need to work out a special arrangement for your situation, talk with one of the South Band Directors or with Claudia Barron (our Trip Financial Manager).
Family members (including siblings: children must be accompanied by at least one parent), former band members, former band parents, and Waukesha School District employees are welcome to participate as "tag alongs" - if this applies to you, use the same forms and dates as the students, below.

Australia Trip Insurance (Added 1/30/2010)
Payment record and information regarding trip insurance was sent home with students on 1/28/2010. If you did not receive that information, ask your student or contact Claudia Barron: redriderfx@tds.net.
A Travel Guard brochure was sent home 2/12/2010.
An Email was sent to all the participants that we have email addresses for on 2/13/2010. The email / letter tells you to HOW and WHEN to purchase trip insurance. |
